This Correction Policy explains how FIRST IAS INSTITUTE handles factual errors on firstias.co.in, class notes, mocks and related UPSC learning materials. It forms part of the Institute’s Terms and Conditions.
Official sources prevail
UPSC notifications, Government of India publications, the Gazette, and other authorised documents override Institute materials if they conflict. Students must verify dates, eligibility, vacancies and syllabus from upsc.gov.in.
How to report an error
Write to firstiasofficial@gmail.com with:
- the page URL or material title;
- the incorrect text;
- the suggested correction; and
- a reliable source (UPSC / government / standard reference).

Review
The content team reviews reports in the ordinary course of academic work. Where the error is confirmed, the page or material is updated. Archival articles may remain online with a note if they have learning value.
